Colleen Respondek - Clinical Psychologist

 

Colleen is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with adults, children and adolescents. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology 1st Class Honours) and a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Endorsement with the Australian Psychological Society.

Working from a client-centred, strengths-based framework, Colleen offers an individual and collaborative approach to assist clients to address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, complex trauma, relationships, substance use, body image, self-esteem, social skills, emotion regulation, adjustment to life changes, and behaviour change.

​

Colleen offers tailored therapy, utilising the most effective therapeutic models. Colleen draws on numerous therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative and Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She pursues continuous education and research toward achieving positive outcomes for clients. Colleen has extensive experience in teaching psychology, group work, staff training and delivering professional development.

 

As a compassionate and strengths-based psychologist, Colleen aims to assist clients to better understand and utilise their unique strengths in order to develop strategies to overcome difficulties and build increased resilience.

Erin Poulton - Consultant Psychologist 

​

Erin is  a  Psychologist at Poulton Psychology. Erin is a Registered Psychologist.

Erin completed her studies at the University of Wollongong

​

Erin has extensive experience working in a clinical environment with children, adults and families, with psychometric assessment being one of her areas of specialty.

 

Erin works within a CBT framework in the areas of Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Grief Counselling, Behaviour Management in children, and in Pervasive Developmental Disorders in children (Autism Spectrum Disorder). She also has extensive experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Liz Hill -Developmental and Educational Psychologist

​

Liz is an Educational and Developmental psychologist, with a Masters Degree from Monash University. Educational and Developmental psychologists specialise in learning, behaviour, high prevalence mood and anxiety problems, and development across the lifespan. Liz has a passion for working with children and adolescents, and she holds extensive experience working across private practice, hospital, welfare, government, and school-based settings.

 

Liz offers both counselling and psychoeducational assessment services. She adopts the therapeutic approaches of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she always strives to provide a strength-based service that leads to increased resilience in the individual. Liz has special interests in learning difficulties, specific learning disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She draws on the work of Ross Greene and Dan Siegal to support parenting through common  difficulties in early childhood development.

​Linda Irwin Consultant Psychologist

​

Linda is a registered psychologist and has been an educator for over 25 years. She is experienced working with children and families in a broad range of settings including working collaboratively with schools aiming to improve students' access to education and increasing individualised accommodations.

 

Linda has worked with children, young people and adults with presentations of ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, learning challenges, stress, emotional dysregulation and relationship challenges. She has a neurodiverse affirming, strengths-based, holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. Linda draws on her training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), creative and play therapies, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), self-compassion, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

 

Linda looks to approaches that best support people of all ages to build knowledge and strategies for navigating challenges and enhancing psychological wellbeing through improved understanding of self, increased participation and engagement, and enhanced meaning and fulfillment.
